2.13. Where is Jesus divine Person?
Current theology often portrays Jesus' divine person as omniscient in heaven, but this approach raises some issues. Heaven, traditionally seen as a place or state, is not the ultimate explanation. Jesus Himself stated that the Father has life, and the Son has His own life, which He can freely share with others. This suggests that the everlasting life Jesus gives comes from sharing the very Life He possesses in the spiritual realm. Those outside of that shared life are essentially in a non-operational state—not dead in the sense of non-existence, but lacking the full knowledge of life. Babies who die young, for example, may not possess intellectual awareness of their existence or suffering, as they are in a non-operational state, unlike fallen angels who shared in the life of Jesus, barred from Trinity but still own the instilled life in them. In this view, Heaven is simply existing within the life of the Trinity. The second Person of the Trinity, while human, temporarily suspends His divine activity without altering the unchangeable nature of the Trinity, emptying Himself in His humanity.
