Overview

Faith Corporation is a Holy, Caring, Spiritual, and Loving Company where God dwells in. It creates an environment that allows Christians to perform their Godly duties. It also gives back to society & nourished by Religious Community. All F-Corps operate closely with one another in a F-Corp Business Association.

The goal of all Faith Corporation is to create Faith-Based Industries that runs the economy of Christian population, as declared in Christendom 2.0 manifesto, a land of active & respectful evangelization in the business world.

Declaration of Interdependence

In humility, in the Catholic Church, we dream a global economy that uses business to internally create a Christian space for religious freedom and to externally create missionary impact, we call it Christendom 2.0.

This economy includes a new form of corporation, the F Corporation, which is both purpose-driven and spiritual-driven, creating Christian spiritual & material benefits to all stakeholders and employees. It is consecrated to Jesus Christ & His Church and aimed for building Christian culture in a company where Jesus dwells so that we will be His people and He will be our God.

As F Corporations and Christian leaders of this economic zone, we believe:

  • We believe, the Church is a missionary: to make disciples of all nations and baptize them. Both are important. While proselytizing is bad, spiritual attractions that are detached from the knowledge-transfer about Christ is insufficient.
  • We believe, ethics is the minimum human law, the majority of attractions to Christ may not come from ethics. The temptation today is self-mark by fulfilling a movement: green movement, women's rights movement, and later Christian Ethic movement. We need to self-reflect whether our actions are self fulfilling or truly bring Christ to others.
  • We believe, Love & mystical manifestations that come from Christ's spring are what attracts others to Christ. Only Jesus, the spring of all creation can attract others sustainably to one's greater calling. Holiness without charity and spirituality is a sterile progress that may call others to baptism yet may not provide a deep conversion in Christ.
  • We believe, Christian Space that ensures Freedom of Christian Missionary is necessary to demand Christian ethics & allow more charitable manifestation to occur. Christian Space & Christian customer focus demand a Christian Identity to ensure non-discrimination. Therefore, decentralization of Christian identity is necessary for the laity to offer a global spiritual impact.
  • We believe, evangelization is more effective when Church organs collaborate, rather than a CEO's individual action. Sustainable Christian collaboration can only occur with Christian identity in place.
  • We believe, the need to redefine corporate culture is urgent. Ministry, faith, work, life, social, and family are inseparably important. Letting God always be the center of it requires both spiritual & operational schedules. Structure v.s. Spirituality often dominates each other, therefore, each requires a separate personnel that intensely collaborates.
  • We believe, That money is part of holy work, but the disposition of the mind must always follow: “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”
  • We believe, That all business ought to be conducted by preserving the dignity of a human person and must never be viewed as a commodity that can be bought and sold. That to exercise pressure for the sake of gain upon the indigent and destitute, and to make one’s profit out of the need of another, is condemned by all laws, human and divine.

  • To accomplish such requires that we pray for each other and act with clarity that we are dependent upon & responsible for each other, in advancing the Kingdom of God.

By all means, the love of God has to be free. There are two reasons why F-Corp sounds extremely legalistic.

  • Just like a person enters a religious order with rule and schedule to love God. We seek startups/companies that are willing to voluntarily sacrifice for the Lord. However, all employees have the right to know what the company is up for.

Controversies came one after another in the world of innovation & spirituality: economy of sharing, open culture, virtual experience, intellectual property. These were great innovations with no direct contact with Church until someone brought the Church personnel over to give some insights. We are calling for priests and bishops to walk with inventions and renewal created by anyone. Let's again become a Church who listens, walks, explores and falls with the people, so we get up together. Rather than being well-known as one who sets rules and impeccably disapproves. This will hopefully bring back the word "Catholic" to be highly accepted by those whose hearts have been called by the Father. Community, Process, & Spirituality have been proven to be effective carriers of Evangelization. With communities, a society creates their own identity and culture. Couple for Christ, as an example, at one point had 1 million members. With strategy & structure, a society removes confusion and work for the same mission. Let's look at how much Mercy has been part of the Christian conversation after Pope Francis declared the year of Mercy. With Spirituality, people experience kerygma, love, draw, wonder, conversions, sanctification. St. Francis with His Spirituality & Mystical Experiences has been a vehicle by God to draw millions or billions souls to Him.

CATHOLIC CULTURE
  • Pledge obedience to a Bishop in a Diocese in communion with the Roman Catholic Church or to Pope of Rome and their successors.
  • That the organization is irrevocably a Catholic organization, will comply with all Catholic Teachings & Local Authority the best they can.
  • Non-catholics are to be treated with equal opportunities, not to be forced to be part of our faith, but needs to respect the Catholic identity.
STRUCTURE
  • At least 1 active member from the order of clergy or religious community in the Board of Director / Volunteers.
  • At least 1 active chaplain from a religious order with pontifical right to spread the spirituality into the operation.
  • Have a Catholicer Spiritual Program resides within it, directed by chaplain. All Catholics in the organization are encouraged to join as part of their working time. All C-level or Senior Level Catholics' full participation is mandatory.

is a Catholic Entrepreneur with deep spirituality and catechetically well formed. As an entrepreneur or leader of companies, one constantly discerns the will of God and prays extensively. One is free to exercise their spirituality in how they operate but following the footstep of one or more proclaimed saints in the Catholic Church are much more recommended.     We are celebrating the ninetieth anniversary of the Encyclical Rerum Novarum on the eve of new developments in technological, economic and political conditions which, according to many experts, will influence the world of work and production no less than the industrial revolution of the last century. There are many factors of a general nature: the widespread introduction of automation into many spheres of production, the increase in the cost of energy and raw materials, the growing realization that the heritage of nature is limited and that it is being intolerably polluted, and the emergence on the political scene of peoples who, after centuries of subjection, are demanding their rightful place among the nations and in international decision-making. These new conditions and demands will require a reordering and adjustment of the structures of the modern economy and of the distribution of work. Unfortunately, for millions of skilled workers these changes may perhaps mean unemployment, at least for a time, or the need for retraining. They will very probably involve a reduction or a less rapid increase in material well-being for the more developed countries. But they can also bring relief and hope to the millions who today live in conditions of shameful and unworthy poverty.

    It is not for the Church to analyze scientifically the consequences that these changes may have on human society. But the Church considers it her task always to call attention to the dignity and rights of those who work, to condemn situations in which that dignity and those rights are violated, and to help to guide the above-mentioned changes so as to ensure authentic progress by man and society.

  • INTER MIRIFICA The most important of these inventions are those media which, such as the press, movies, radio, television and the like, can, of their very nature, reach and influence, not only individuals, but the very masses and the whole of human society, and thus can rightly be called the media of social communication.
  • DIGNITATIS HUMANAE Religious freedom, in turn, which men demand as necessary to fulfill their duty to worship God, has to do with immunity from coercion in civil society. Therefore it leaves untouched traditional Catholic doctrine on the moral duty of men and societies toward the true religion and toward the one Church of Christ.

Whenever it seems appropriate, there should be joint action between Catholics and other Christians. The spirit of Charity, far from forbidding prudence and orderliness in social and charitable action, in fact demands them. Those intending to serve the developing countries must therefore undergo appropriate and systematic training.In order to foster and encourage cooperation among men, the Church must be present and active in the community of nations. It must work through its own public organizations with the full and sincere cooperation of all Christians in their one desire to serve all mankind.This end will be more effectively achieved if the faithful are themselves conscious of their human and Christian responsibilities and seek to awaken among those in their own walk of life a readiness to cooperate with the international community. Special care should be taken to give this kind of formation to young people in their religious and secular education.Finally, it is to be hoped that, in carrying out their responsibilities in the international community, Catholics will seek to cooperate actively and constructively with other Christians, who profess the same Gospel of love, and with all men who hunger and thirst for true peace.
  • REDEMPTORIS MISSIO 46 Nowadays the call to conversion which missionaries address to non-Christians is put into question or passed over in silence. It is seen as an act of "proselytizing"; it is claimed that it is enough to help people to become more human or more faithful to their own religion, that it is enough to build communities capable of working for justice, freedom, peace and solidarity. What is overlooked is that every person has the right to hear the "Good News" of the God who reveals and gives himself in Christ, so that each one can live out in its fullness his or her proper calling. This lofty reality is expressed in the words of Jesus to the Samaritan woman: "If you knew the gift of God," and in the unconscious but ardent desire of the woman: "Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst" (Jn 4:10, 15).
  • REDEMPTORIS MISSIO 36 Other great obstacles to the Church's missionary work include past and present divisions among Christians,57 dechristianization within Christian countries, the decrease of vocations to the apostolate, and the counterwitness of believers and Christian communities failing to follow the model of Christ in their lives. But one of the most serious reasons for the lack of interest in the missionary task is a widespread indifferentism, which, sad to say, is found also among Christians. It is based on incorrect theological perspectives and is characterized by a religious relativism which leads to the belief that "one religion is as good as another." We can add, using the words of Pope Paul VI, that there are also certain "excuses which would impede evangelization.
  • REDEMPTORIS MISSIO 33-34 First, there is the situation which the Church's missionary activity addresses: peoples, groups, and socio-cultural contexts in which Christ and his Gospel are not known, or which lack Christian communities sufficiently mature to be able to incarnate the faith in their own environment and proclaim it to other groups. This is mission ad gentes in the proper sense of the term.52 Secondly, there are Christian communities with adequate and solid ecclesial structures. They are fervent in their faith and in Christian living. They bear witness to the Gospel in their surroundings and have a sense of commitment to the universal mission. In these communities the Church carries out her activity and pastoral care. Thirdly, there is an intermediate situation, particularly in countries with ancient Christian roots, and occasionally in the younger Churches as well, where entire groups of the baptized have lost a living sense of the faith, or even no longer consider themselves members of the Church, and live a life far removed from Christ and his Gospel. In this case what is needed is a "new evangelization" or a "re-evangelization." 34. Missionary activity proper, namely the mission ad gentes, is directed to "peoples or groups who do not yet believe in Christ," "who are far from Christ," in whom the Church "has not yet taken root"53 and whose culture has not yet been influenced by the Gospel.54 It is distinct from other ecclesial activities inasmuch as it is addressed to groups and settings which are non-Christian because the preaching of the Gospel and the presence of the Church are either absent or insufficient. It can thus be characterized as the work of proclaiming Christ and his Gospel, building up the local Church and promoting the values of the kingdom. The specific nature of this mission ad gentes consists in its being addressed to "non-Christians." It is therefore necessary to ensure that this specifically "missionary work that Jesus entrusted and still entrusts each day to his Church"55 does not become an indistinguishable part of the overall mission of the whole People of God and as a result become neglected or forgotten.
  • REDEMPTORIS MISSIO 37.a Situations are not, however, the same everywhere. While acknowledging that statements about the missionary responsibility of the Church are not credible unless they are backed up by a serious commitment to a new evangelization in the traditionally Christian countries, it does not seem justified to regard as identical the situation of a people which has never known Jesus Christ and that of a people which has known him, accepted him and then rejected him, while continuing to live in a culture which in large part has absorbed gospel principles and values. These are two basically different situations with regard to the faith.
  • EVANGELI GAUDIUM III.15 15. In first place, we can mention the area of ordinary pastoral ministry, which is “animated by the fire of the Spirit, so as to inflame the hearts of the faithful who regularly take part in community worship and gather on the Lord’s day to be nourished by his word and by the bread of eternal life”.[11] In this category we can also include those members of faithful who preserve a deep and sincere faith, expressing it in different ways, but seldom taking part in worship. Ordinary pastoral ministry seeks to help believers to grow spiritually so that they can respond to God’s love ever more fully in their lives. A second area is that of “the baptized whose lives do not reflect the demands of Baptism”,[12] who lack a meaningful relationship to the Church and no longer experience the consolation born of faith. The Church, in her maternal concern, tries to help them experience a conversion which will restore the joy of faith to their hearts and inspire a commitment to the Gospel. Lastly, we cannot forget that evangelization is first and foremost about preaching the Gospel to those who do not know Jesus Christ or who have always rejected him. Many of them are quietly seeking God, led by a yearning to see his face, even in countries of ancient Christian tradition. All of them have a right to receive the Gospel. Christians have the duty to proclaim the Gospel without excluding anyone. Instead of seeming to impose new obligations, they should appear as people who wish to share their joy, who point to a horizon of beauty and who invite others to a delicious banquet. It is not by proselytizing that the Church grows, but “by attraction”.[13] John Paul II asked us to recognize that “there must be no lessening of the impetus to preach the Gospel” to those who are far from Christ, “because this is the first task of the Church”.[14] Indeed, “today missionary activity still represents the greatest challenge for the Church”[15] and “the missionary task must remain foremost”.[16] What would happen if we were to take these words seriously? We would realize that missionary outreach is paradigmatic for all the Church’s activity. Along these lines the Latin American bishops stated that we “cannot passively and calmly wait in our church buildings”;[17] we need to move “from a pastoral ministry of mere conservation to a decidedly missionary pastoral ministry”.[18] This task continues to be a source of immense joy for the Church: “Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance” (Lk 15:7).
“A Christian,” said Pope Francis, “must proclaim Jesus Christ in such a way that He be accepted: received, not refused – and Paul knows that he has to sow the Gospel message. He knows that the proclamation of Jesus Christ is not easy, but that it does not depend on him. He must do everything possible, but the proclamation of Jesus Christ, the proclamation of the truth, depends on the Holy Spirit. Jesus tells us in today’s Gospel: ‘When He shall come, the Spirit of truth, shall guide you into all the truth.’ Paul does not say to the Athenians: ‘This is the encyclopedia of truth. Study this and you have the truth, the truth.’ No! The truth does not enter into an encyclopedia. The truth is an encounter – it is a meeting with Supreme Truth: Jesus, the great truth. No one owns the truth. We receive the truth when we meet [it]. But why did Paul act as he did? First, the Pope said, because “this is the way” of Jesus who “spoke with everyone” with sinners, publicans, teachers of the law. Paul, therefore, “follows the attitude of Jesus”: “The Christian who would bring the Gospel must go down this road: [must] listen to everyone! But now is a good time in the life of the Church: the last 50 or 60 years have been a good time – for I remember when as a child one would hear in Catholic families, in my family, ‘No, we cannot go to their house, because they are not married in the Church, eh!’. It was as an exclusion. No, you could not go! Neither could we go to [the houses of] socialists or atheists. Now, thank God, people do not says such things, right? [Such an attitude] was a defense of the faith, but it was one of walls: the LORD made bridges. First: Paul has this attitude, because it was the attitude of Jesus. Second, Paul is aware that he must evangelize, not proselytize.

Our work raised a lot of questions, it is normal and expected for New Evangelization is all about new forms. A bishop said to us, we lift up walls of compartmentalized system and people are confused how to react to it.

  • How do you reconcile BUSINESS & RELIGION?

    The scripture stated, that work is essential to cultivate the creation. We believe, business is not to make money. Business is a holy calling for entrepreneurs to serve God, to cultivate nature, and to love mankind. Throughout history, God has always been working with those who worked. Separation of God and Work have caused so much problem to the point of souless economic result (JP2). God should always be present in all parts of our life.

    Nevertheless, Church as a hierarchy is a different discussion. F-Corps exist to build economy of the Christian society to care for one another. The reason Catholicer chose to be an independent entity, is because it would not be healthy to put businessman under the hierarchy of the Church authority.

  • How do you reconcile MONEY & RELIGION?

    It is embodied in our declaration of interdependence, that our F-Corp, like B-Corp of social-impact companies, is not for making one rich, but to focus on spiritual impacts. The question is not so much about what they do with the money if the company goes big, the first question is usually how can this company even survive for they are heroically committed to reallocate such a high % of profits for others.

  • Isn't using Catholic identity part of Narcisism?

    The use of Catholic identity in Catholicer F-Corps is not to show off or to use branding/marketing strategy. Identity is an integral part to offer the whole result to God, so we, servant leaders, do not get the credit too much. In some area of the world where religion is well acknowledged, the lack of identity will hinder collaborations with other Church organs. In other area of the world where religion is controversial, absence of identity may bring lawsuit/danger to these companies.

  • Isn't using Catholic identity divisive?

    An initial focus on Faith Industries are to create healthy economy among Christian population or for the sake of the poor, and expand it to everyone to ensure inclusivity. Although some take advantages of it to safeguard our brothers/sisters from religious extremism, F-Corps may not be suitable in some areas and its existence must be well discerned in case it may trigger conflicts. F-Corps should not be used to declare superiority or to deteriorate their competitors.

  • Should all companies follow this model?

    However much we hope of a good thing we can share to others, the Lord always has His own say. We are not superior or better than anyone, we are doing this simply because we love the Church, God, and everyone to help them find salvation. We reject looking down on existing good business structure and models out there. They serve their purpose and we serve our purposes, but we hope that we can collaborate with everyone.

  • I believe we should only do good and not to convert people.

    First of all, we do not convert people, we voluntarily work for Christ and His Church. Helping, convincing, numerizing, dying for others in the sole agenda of changing others may give us problem and could be sinful. We believe giving to others what is best for them is a noble act. If doing what Jesus, St. Francis, and Mother Teresa did is radical and brings us rejection, then, we will endure the pain. However, some misunderstand what evangelization truly is. St. Francis taught us to evangelize without words, but he spoke in the Church often and people know what who he is. Many falsely believe Mother Teresa never talked about Christ when helping others. Although the conversion of heart is the work of the Holy Spirit, inability to meet, to dialog, and to interact with others in the way we can truly be ourselves in Christ would hinder the work of Holy Spirit, for He works through His people.
